TGIF! Hope everyone had a wonderful week and received many nice bundles from their horses. Today I wanted to remind everyone of an Amaretto resource that doesn’t get used nearly enough, and that’s the Amaretto Forums.

The Amaretto Forums are a great place to find many interesting posts, lovely pictures and helpful breeders from the community who will help answer many of your questions.

There is a section for each of the Amaretto Breedables, Horses, K9s and Birds where you can talk about anything you want regarding them. There is a beautiful thread called Chicken Soup for the Amaretto Soul where you can share your stories about how the breedables touched your lives. One of my favorite threads is the one under the Horse Related Chat Only called Trend Setting Horses. The posts in there show off some of the pretties horses that the community has worked hard on. It’s fun to flip through there and see what everyone is working on.

If you don’t’ use the Amaretto Forums now you should head over and check them out and then check back often as things are added there often. I look forward to seeing more activity on there now that everyone is aware how awesome they are!!!

Howdy y’all! Today I wanted to cover three websites that are amazing and oh so helpful when it comes to Amaretto Ranch Breedables… The Wiki! The wiki pages are filled with a wealthy of information and can definitely come in handy when learning about our breedables. They have tons of information on them from traits, to consumables, to FAQs.

Here you will find a complete list of traits and consumables, information on Horse Haven and Forever Foals, and a list of commonly used terms when breeding and raising Amaretto Horses. I would like to point out that we have added 3 new sections under the List of Horse Traits section. A list of current Leg Traits, Wings, and Bridles are now in their own sections on the Wiki. This is a vital website when raising Horses!

Today I want to talk about why it is important to send your breedables in to us in folders with your name and ticket number on the folder when you need to have them repaired.

First check out your own inventory, look in the objects category. I’m sure you have some items there. If you drop an item to someone, this is where the item usually goes.so when we log on and look in that folder we see that obviously someone has sent us something, we are not sure what or why so then we get a surprise that usually ends up in causing us confusion.

. Now think about all the breedables that get sent to me and the other CSR’s everyday. If they are not sent in the folders like we requested, they may end up lost and in the trash., because without a folder labeled with your name and ticket number, we will have no way of know who the items belong to.So the two most important items to put on the folder is your ticket number and your SL name.

Now creating a folder is easy

1. right click (or command click if your using a mac) in either the My Inventory folder or another folder (like the Objects folder)

2. click New Folder then under the folder you clicked on, a New Folder will be created and ready to rename with your name and ticket number.

3. Right click on the folder and select Rename, now rename the folder with your ticket number and your SL name.

4. Once you are done changing the name it will fall in order with the other folders and be ready to add your inventory to it.

5.. After you have placed the horses / K-9s/ barnyard birds, bundles / kennels / nests and any additional information you can add for the ticket pull our name up in search and drag the folder over to us and we will get it (even if we are off-line!) and we will respond in your ticket if more information is needed or if no info is needed you will have your fixed breedable sent back in the folder that will say Amaretto Breedables from CSR NAME -REPAIRED

You do NOT need to send a note card separately or an instant message to the CSR. If you do instant message a CSR have your ticket ID on hand, we talk to so many people when you randomly message we have no idea who you are.

Below are the ticket guidelines

• ABUSIVE BEHAVIOR OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE TOLERATED AND YOUR TICKET WILL BE CLOSED WITH POSSIBLE LOSS OF SUPPORT PRIVILEGES.

• PLEASE put both your full SL First name and Last name (if you do not have a last name put resident) in the ticket do NOT use display names

•All communication MUST be in the ticket. CSRs will not respond to in world IMs or Note cards! To ensure your ticket is resolved as quick as possible, Please keep ALL responses/communications in your ticket.

•Tickets may take 48-72 hours to get a response from the support team, please have patience.

•Do not respond to the emails, we do not get those, you must respond inside the ticket itself for us to see the response.

•No response to tickets from the user in 3 days and the ticket will be closed.

•Do not wait to be contacted inworld regarding your ticket. Please log in and check for responses to your tickets.

•Please do not file multiple tickets for the same issue, it only slows things down and the duplicate tickets will be closed.

•Refrain from refreshing your page on the ticket system, it will duplicate your tickets

•You must be the owner of the horse/bundle, K-9/kennel and Barnyard Bird/Nest to file a ticket. Please do not file tickets for others.

•Please include any pertinent information regarding your ticket/issue this will help expedite your ticket through faster.

•BE SURE TO GIVE AS MUCH INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUNDLE/HORSE KENNEL/K-9/BARNYARD BIRD/NEST AS POSSIBLE AS THIS WILL HELP SPEED THINGS UP

Happy Friday everyone! Hope you’re all having a great week!

Today I wanted to remind you about one of the most forgotten resources that Amaretto provides for our community, the How-To Video!

Our very own Avalon put together some very helpful How-To Videos to answer some of the questions that people frequently have. If you go to the main Amaretto website and chose the Help section you will find these wonderful videos along with the manuals for each of the Amaretto breedables.

There are videos that help you with using the HUD’s for horses and K-9s, about the GPS, the updaters and horse haven. The ones I find very useful are the ones that walk you through signing up for the Amaretto website and the Amaretto ticket system site! So if you know anyone having problems with any of these things be sure to direct them to the How-To Videos!

Happy Wednesday Everyone!! Hope everyone is having great breeding days! Hope you all get that special horse you are trying to get.

Today I would like to start off reminding you all about mine and Jaymee’s event . I wanted to let everyone know that tomorrow’s karaoke event has been changed to an Amaretto mixer! We will have the music pumpin for all you guys and gals! So get ready to shake your tooshies tomorrow! This will be on on Thursday July 11 at 11 am.

(We need the single guys to make it out because us single girls need some excitement!)

Summertime Costume Event
Amaretto will be having a Summertime Costume Event Thursday June 27, 2013 at 11 am SL time. If you would like to participate please register by sending a notecard to Avalon Crystal or Karrie Woyseck. Mark your calendars an get your costumes ready for this event ! So be sure to get the notecards in today !

The AMOC Equestrian Extravaganza will end on June 29,2013 so be sure to gallop over there and see some of the amazing horses on display.

I wanted to remind everyone what a great resource the Amaretto University is for breeders. As a professor at the University I can tell you that the classes are informative and fun to attend. You can ask the Amaretto Staff questions afterwards about the class and get answers right from us and not rely on that nasty rumor mill!
Once you start attending classes you will want to be able to keep up with which ones you’ve attended and which ones you still need. That means you will want to register on the ARU website so you can do that. While at the University there are kiosk’s in the back of the classrooms that you touch and they give you a username and password in local chat. Once you have that you can go to the Amaretto Ranch University website and log in! .

When you get to the website click on Course Progression and you will be able to enter your user name and password. From here you will be able to see what classes you have completed and which ones you still need to attend. I always tell people to give it at least a week to show up on the website as the University Chick is a busy girl!
