Let’s Look At Ear Tips!

Happy Wednesday Amaretto Community! Since I talked about the Dipped Ears for the K-9 on Monday, today I wanted to take a moment to tell you about the Ear Tips for the horses! The Ear Tips are an awesome trait and they are a perfect addition for those trying to color coordinate the traits! The Ear Tips were introduced as the 25th Trait from the 2015 Independence Day – Uncle Sam Horse. You can change the color of your horses ears with this trait! This trait DOES have the ability to pass! How exciting! Take a look below at the beautiful Ear Tips!

The ARU website is a great tool for anyone attending ARU classes!

There is some confusion about using and signing up for the ARU website!
The ARU website is a great place to keep up with which classes you do or don’t need!

Its super easy to sign up just visit the ARU at:

Look for the red terminal in the entry way just click the terminal to begin your sign up process!
A blue drop down menu will show up in the upper right hand corner of your screen this is where you will choose to either sign up or reset your password if you forgot it.

You do not have to wait for email confirmation it will give your user name and temporary password.

“Last Bundle” and “Last Bred” Buttons

Hello and Happy Sunday to everyone! Today I am going to take a moment to talk to you about the Last Bundle and Last Bred buttons on the menu. This button is a very useful tool and I think it is very under used. Let me give you an example of how useful this button can be… Let’s say you log on one day and quickly head over to check your bundles you got while you were offline… you get to one of your favorite horses and to your dismay the bundle underneath it has a bright red error message over it reading “Mother Had Second Bundle In 3 Days” and you didn’t already receive a good bundle! What?! Noooo! Now, thanks to Linden Labs, it is ticket time! Now here is where that button comes in handy. You can simply follow these simple steps and get the UUID of the last bundle they had (or should’ve had in the case of the “Mother had second bundle”) I am using a horse in this post as an example but this applies to K9 and Barnyard Birds as well…
To get the last bundle of a horse, K9, or Bird
Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
From there you select Last Bundle
You will see in local chat something that looks like this:
[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: The last bundle dropped by this horse was Amaretto Breedable Bundle with the ID of 1caf7404-XXXX-fe7f-9e4e-2ebXXXf5587
If the horse is has not had any bundles you will see the following in local chat:
[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t had any bundles yet.
If the horse was not owned by you when the last bundle dropped you will see the following in local chat:
[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when its last bundle was born
I would also like to add, if you click on a male horse, they get kind of touchy if you ask what their last bundle is. They will tell you the following in local chat…
[17:30] Amaretto Breedable Horse: I’m a male, I don’t give birth!

Now that we have covered the Last Bundle, Let’s cover the Last Bred button…
Let me give you an example of when the Last Bred button comes in handy, say you have lost a bundle… it’s time to file a ticket… but all you remember is the mother and the CSR is asking for parent info… you can click this button on the mother and it will give you the last horse she bred to in local chat.
To get the last bred to information of a horse, K9, or Bird simply following these instructions:
Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
From there you select the Last Bred button
You will see in local chat something that looks like this:
[17:30] ~Mr Wild Mustang Clydes~: The latest horse partner was ~Ms Pretty Little Lady~ with the ID of c07e698a-f7f7-5e40-XXX-82c38622XXXX
If the horse has not bred yet you will see the following in local chat:
[17:31] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t been bred yet.
If the horse was not owned by you when the last horse last bred you will see the following in local chat:
[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when it was last bred.
So you see these two buttons can be very handy, especially when it comes to making your ticket process goes smoother. I hope everyone has a better understanding of these nifty little buttons and utilizes them when needed!
Happy breeding…. Until next time….

Newness for April, and it’s no Foolin’!!

Happy Friday Amaretto!
Today I have the pleasure and the pain of announcing the new monthly trait but also announcing that our Looney Legs and Batty Bosoms have come to an end. We hope everyone has enjoyed them as much as we have and who knows, some day you may see them show up again when you least expect it. So what is the new monthly trait then you ask?? Starting April 1st we will release the all new Birthstone Flower Horses, Zodiac K-9s and Birthstone Barnyard Birds!

Let me take a minute to explain how these will work. They are very similar to our other monthly traits but of course, they are a little different as well. Let’s discuss the horses first. From April 1st 2017 until April 30th 2017 when you breed any horse with a Daisy Diamond eye to any color Mustang you will have the chance at a Daisy Diamond Mustang! This beautiful coat DOES NOT have the ability to pass, but the all new eye DOES. So much like the showhorses of the past, these beauties will be fun to breed for!

http://wiki.amarettobreedables.com/index.php?title=Birthstone_Flower_Eyes

http://wiki.amarettobreedables.com/index.php?title=Mustang

Now on to the K-9s. From April 1st 2017 until April 30th 2017 when you breed any K-9 with the Aries Diamond eye with any color Great Dane you will get a Aries Great Dane! The coat DOES NOT have the ability to pass, but the all new eye and collar DOES.

http://wiki2.amarettobreedables.com/index.php?title=Zodiac

http://wiki2.amarettobreedables.com/index.php?title=Great_Dane

And now on to our beloved Barnyard Birds. These are even more different then the horses and K-9s as we have yet to release a zodiac line with them. So from April 1st 2017 until April 30th 2017 breed any two granite beaks together and have a chance at the all new April Diamond Bird! This breed DOES NOT have the ability to pass, but the all new eye DOES.

So get them bundles, kennels and nests ready cause these new coats are sure to please! Happy Breeding Amaretto!

Lucky Charmed!

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday! Because Avalon covered the Enchanted K-9 yesterday I want to take today to cover the Charmed Horses! Charmed Horses are very special horses that can be born at random from ANY horse breeding combination. They are NOT able to pass their coats or eyes. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Charmed Horse. When you breed a Charmed Horse (whether it is with another Charmed Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Charmed Horse. The non-Charmed offspring of Charmed Horses do NOT have an increased chance of producing Charmed Horses. You will notice “out To Pasture” behind some of the horses names. In order to make room for new things we sometimes have to put things “Out to Pasture”. When Amaretto puts things Out to Pasture it means that they will no longer be available in the starter, breeder, or ranchers packs sold at the stores. Since Charmed Horses are completely random, when one of them is put Out to Pasture, it means there will no longer be another one of those born onto the grid.

Take a look at the beautiful Charmed Horses below! You can also see the on our wiki at this link http://wiki.amarettobreedables.com/index.php?title=Horse_Coats

Enchanted K-9s

Hey guys hope everyone is having a great Monday! That means we are another weekend down!
I wanted to talk all about Enchanted K9s!

There are some really cool enchanted K-9s that you can get!
Enchanted Anubis
Enchanted Pixie Yorkie
Enchanted Blood Thirsty Beagle
Enchanted Hell Hound

How do you get an Enchanted K-9 you ask?
Enchanted K-9s are very special K-9s that can be born at random from ANY K-9 breeding combination.

Do Enchanted K-9s pass their coat?
NO! Enchanted K-9s are NOT able to pass their coats, eyes or collars.

How can I increase my chances at getting an Enchanted K-9??
When you breed an Enchanted K-9 (whether it is with another Enchanted K-9 or any other K-9) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Enchanted K-9.

But remember! The non-Enchanted offspring of Enchanted K-9s do NOT have an increased chance of producing Enchanted K-9s.

So happy breeding everyone! I hope you all have an Enchanted Evening!
