Interview With an Amaretto Breeder

Happy Friday Everyone! Hope everyone having a good breeding day!

This week I had the pleasure of interviewing AlleeRJ Resident he is always in the group helping out or posting some of his special Amaretto Breedables. Please give him a big hello when you see him in group.
Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
Hello I am AlleeRj and I’m from Brazil. I met second life to about seven years, found interesting the idea of being able to live a virtual world where things happen for real, meet people from other countries learn new languages and cultures, and it has been really cool

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
At Moment I’m Breeding Amaretto Horses and K9.

How did you get started in breedables?
This is very interesting, I started because of a friend at the end of 2009, I was only builder here in SL, and he asked me to build him a stable and I had no idea why, was when he introduced me to the Amaretto Horses and I was really delighted and began starting from then breeding with my old account Secret Grayman, after it stopped for 6 months and ended up coming back already with my new account AlleeRj and I never stopped

Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
Amaretto Horses and K9 and Gothic’s Sabertooth

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
For now no Special projects, all are so special for me 🙂

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto K-9s?
I love my Black K9’s 🙂

What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable?
I Love my Horses 🙂

What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
I love to build, think that is one of the best things to spend time and relax.

Well I hope you enjoyed reading AlleeRJ’s interview. I have included some pictures of AlleeRJ’s favorite Amaretto Breedables.

Until next week Happy Breeding!!!

This Spotlight is on Fire!!

Happy Thursday! What can I say about this week’s edition of my Spotlight other than it is Hot! Hot! Hot! Most of you know the wonderful Benny Springflower as the owner of the well-known Sweetflowers Breedables but what you might not know is Benny is an amazing breeder in his own right.  Well Benny has been kind enough to share one of his awesome projects with all of us.  This is what Benny had to say about his “Fire Walker” project.

My perfect “Fire Walker ” should have the following traits ….

Coat: Black Walker

Eye: Fire Element

Mane: Long

Tail: Long

Wild Hair: 2nd Anniversary

9x Null (of course optional because you don’t see them – but don’t add traits like gleams glooms or luster to it)

About 8 months ago I found bundles which had kind of those traits … only some were missing and I thought … oh ok that could look very nice…

I added some traits to them, and got what I have now….  I like the black coat with the red fire colors as a contrast. The traits are solid like rocks now

So I keep breeding them – I have now a “small army” in my breeding stall and a very large bunch of bundles in my inventory

And I got 6 elemental coats with breeding them already – which all look unique due to the clean coats and the Wild Hair 2nd Anniversary

Here are some pictures of Benny’s Fire Walkers and the Elementals he’s received while breeding this project.  So you see not only a beautiful project but also one that doubles as a project capable of getting an Elemental!

Until next time Happy breeding!!

We have included in the box a Amaretto Autism Awareness Bracelet so you can show all of Secondlife you donated! In the box as well is an Amaretto Certificate of Appreciation for you to rez out at your land to show your support.

We have researched who we would donate this money to and we have found a family that is very deserving and in need. Please take a moment to to read about the Torres Family!
The Torres Family
Hello We are the Torres family and we have three children on the Autism Spectrum, our oldest son Ivan was first diagnosed when he was 3 yrs old 4 yrs ago and his brother Edward was diagnosed at the age of 2 two years later Our youngest daughter Mia was just recently diagnosed about a month ago after she turned two and although we had already gone through it with two older children it still hurt us just like first time, but we kept on going for our family.

Our kids attend regular ABA therapy sessions (applied behavioral analysis) and special education classes which has helped them so much in speech, and social interaction. We also involve our kids in extra curricular activities such as baseball, soccer and swim lessons and we have our occasional family trips such as camping and going to the beach.

We Love our children and they have taught us so much, such as having patience is a virtue and we must not take it for granted and that no matter how much life can speed on by us we need to stop and take the time to really know whats important. Our children may learn, speak or act differently than anyone else but to us they are the most normal people we know.

Some breeders were asking for a donation box so they could donate without purchasing horses, so we have set up at kiosks at all locations, so feel free to drop in and donate some lindens here is what the kiosk looks like in world!

Kiosk

We are very pleased to help the Torres Family get some of the help that they need and deserve! I know Autism has touched my life personally and I know it has a lot of you in your real lives! So please consider donating to this wonderful cause. We have created a totals page so you guys can see exactly how much has been raised.

Totals Page: http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/AUT2015

We will also follow up with what the Torres Family uses the money for, as well have a check presentation.

Lets show the Torres Family what Amaretto Breeders can do and make a difference in these 3 wonderful children’s lives!!!

Interview with an Amaretto Breeder

Happy Friday Everyone!!! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day!

This week I had the pleasure to interview Lucky Bekkers as many of you know she is always in the group helping out and posting her Amaretto Breedables 🙂
So when you see her in the groups give her a big hello!

Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
I live in Germany and long time ago (more as 8 years) I saw a report about Second Life on television. I was immediately fascinated from the possibilities to create our own world and so I logged in.

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
Now just only the Amaretto Horses, but I tried also Amaretto K-9s and Amaretto Barnyard Birds too.

How did you get started in breedables?
I started with Sion Chickens, because some friends told me about them. Later I breed Ozimals bunnies. And I’m an Amaretto breeder right from the start:)

Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
Not any longer. But I tried some other breedables.

What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
I work since 3 years ago, on my private project: I breed and collect all yellow/black, or black/yellow colored horses. The reason is, that my favorite soccer team Borussia Dortmund, wear this colors. LoI, I know I’m a little bit crazy, but it’s only just for fun:)
As a second project I breed White Walker with double Lucky traits (and in addition other white traits)

What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable?
The Amaretto horses will always be my favorite.

What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
I spend my time to talk with my friends and I love it to go shopping clothes or plants and decorations for my private land.

Thank you Lucky for letting me interview you this week 🙂

Until next week Happy Breeding!!

The Spotlight Goes for Gold

Happy Thursday!  This week’s Spotlight is a “golden” opportunity for you to get some inspiration for a wonderful project of your own.  We can all thank our lovely Lisabella Lane for sharing this project with all of us!  Now as many of us already know Lisa has many beautiful projects but she narrowed it down to what I think is a great one (and it’s pretty too). I asked Lisa to tell us all a little about this project and here is what she had to say.

I started my “Go for Gold” project about 100 days ago. I saw a Molten Roan Gold with double High Gleam and loved the wonderful golden color of the lightning bolts in the coat and the golden shades in the mane and tail. I looked out for matching traits. Gladly with gold/yellow horn and wings I found nicely matching traits. By accident I got a braided tail. For my taste, Molten Roan is perfect for braided tails – you can see that on the picture attached.

My perfect “Go for Gold” should have the following traits:

Coat: Molten Roan Gold

Eyes:  Nostrum Gold or Egyptian Gold

Mane: Long

Tail: Braided

No Gloom, no Luster, no Opal

Coat and Hair High Gleam

Wing Gold/Yellow

Horn Gold/Yellow

Bridle Gold

Ear style as you like and a pretty branding – like Crown, Badge or Diamond Jubilee

I will try to add Nulls, where they fit

There you have it!  Now we can all “Go for Gold” just like Lisabella! If you have a project you’d like to share with everyone then send me a notecard and you could be in the Spotlight too!  Until next time Happy Breeding!!!

Ticket Tips!

Hey guys its a wonderful Tuesday around Amaretto Ranch Breedables,
hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

I wanted to talk to everyone about something that has became an issue lately.

I know this has been talked about before but I think some of us need a reminder on the steps you should take after your ticket is filed.

*** Only file a ticket on your horses, not your daughters, partners, or friends!
If the CSR ask you for a slurl, make sure they are on your allowed list and paste the slurl to the breedable your having a issue.

You can get a slurl by going there in world and opening the map and choosing the copy slurl option. This copies your ordinates in world and now you will be able to post them. A slurl will look like this:

http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Amaretto%20Ranch%20Horses/57/155/22

If the CSR asks you to please send your breedable in world with your full SL name and Amaretto Ticket number. Thank you.

This means you make a folder in your inventory name your folder just as the CSR asked you.

Example: Avalon Crystal AQM-222-22395

This ensures that your breedable will not get lost in a inventory and will be easily matched with your ticket. If you do not do this our CSRS can not be responsible for random objects being sent to them. If your breedable is not in a folder it will be sent back to you!!!! (if we can find out who it belongs too)

Also one more last tip! Make sure that you are sending the breedable to the correct CSR. Don’t assume it will be the same one who did your last ticket. Read your responses carefully and send to the proper CSR.

All of these things will ensure that your ticket is handled in a timely manner.
Remember all issues must be filed through the ticket system!!!
