Interview with an Amaretto Breeder

Happy Friday Everyone ! Hope everyone is having a good breeding day !

This week I had the pleasure of interviewing Marco Denimore . Marco is in the group so if you see him give him a big hello.
Please tell the community a little about yourself. Where you are from and what brought you to Second Life?
I’m from the North of Italy, I joined Second Life the first time 7 years ago, a friend of mine brought me here then I left after 2 weeks and came back in September 2012.

Which Amaretto Breedables do you own?
Only Horses, my first breedable love 🙂

How did you get started in breedables?
An italian friend started to breed just in September 2012, when I came back to SL, watching his horses I got curious and on October 20th 2012 I bought my first bundles, since that day I never left my babies 😀

*Do you own other breedables besides Amaretto?
Yes I own and breed also WK cats

*What special projects are you working on right now with your Amaretto Horses?
Lately I’m working on some projects :
The Angel of Death, a project I designed with double bloody white,
The Denim Frosty Winter with Denim coat and winter frost/snowflake traits
The Spiderman : A project I’m carrying on from the past inspired by the fictional superhero
The miracle of love : a high traited horse full of pink and love traits
The tiramisu : this has been a very succesful horse a while ago and now I’m updating it with some more recent traits
Plus several clean white walkers and/or crazed with matching traits on
What is your favorite Amaretto Breedable ?
It’s my first love…Horses!!!! 😀

What are some other things that you enjoy doing in Second Life when you’re not taking care of your breedables?
I enjoy spending time with my partner, love and special woman micia, a wonderful person I had the luckiness to meet in the Amaretto horses world.

Thank you Marco for letting me interview you this week .
I am including some pictures of Marco special Amaretto breedables.

Until next week Happy Breeding !!

Spotlight on colorful flocks

Hey, Hey, Hey it’s Thursday!!!  I’m super excited for today’s Spotlight because I get to talk to you about some of the Breedables that have been tickling a lot of people’s fancy lately….the Barnyard Birds!!! Yes the release of the 2.0 Bird Update has caused quite a lot of people to check out how cute the Birds are and many are overworking their incubator birthing one after the other.

It’s been fascinating to watch the Bird Breeders talk about their birds and how much they love adding the color to them.  So this week I enlisted the help of 2 lovely ladies, Lisabella Lane and Molly Lundquist while I attempted to find birds to show what the Shades looked like on the birds.  Thank you for allowing me to photograph your beautiful bird’s ladies (even though they didn’t let me keep them lol). There were definitely a few that I fell head over heels in love with and had to go in search of to add to my birds.

I hope the pictures below inspire a burst of color into your flock of Barnyard Birds.  Until next week, Happy Breeding!!!

p.s. I saved the picture of my FAVORITE for last so scroll all the way down!
