Donkey Fun

One of my favorite Haven horses isn’t a horse! It’s a donkey!
The cute little donkey, who brays and kneels (if you leave animations on). You can purchase a Haven donkey from the Haven board for 250,000 points, and receive a random gender and color, Sienna, Brass, or Ash Grey. They come with a random starter eye and do not pass their coats. As with the other Haven horses, breeding them with another Haven Horse or any other horse, you have an increased chance at receiving a random Charmed Horse.
A bit different from the other Haven horses, by breeding a donkey to any Amaretto horse other than another donkey you could get a mule! Mules are special drops that don’t pass their coat and also come in Brass, Sienna and Ash Grey.

In May 2013 Amaretto released the Cinco De Mayo donkeys. If you were lucky enough, by breeding them with any other Amaretto horse you could get a black mule. In fact, you still can, if you can find a breedable age 2013 Cinco De Mayo donkey.

In May of 2017, Amaretto released another Cinco De Mayo donkey, the Primer Caballero. Breeding this one with any Amaretto horse could produce a white mule. So much mulery!! LOL. The white mule is also still possible to get if you have a breeding age 2017 Cinco De Mayo.

White Mule

Unfortunately, none of the mules can pass their coats, but the 2017 Cinco De Mayo COULD pass the Guitarra Azul eye.
All these goodies seem like a good reason to get a Haven donkey to add to your herd don’t they?

Barnyard Consumables Covered!

Hello Amaretto Community and Happy Tuesday!! Did you know that the Barnyard Bird Consumables are for use by both the Barnyard Birds and the new Barnyard Ducks! Today I want to take a moment to cover these consumables! Please keep in mind that Barnyard Birds and Ducks have separate food and Orange Rinds/Lettuce Leaves that are specific to the Birds or Ducks. Take a look below at the shared consumables.

High Potency Seeds
These seeds pack a potent punch! High Potency Seeds provide a 10% increase to Vigor. Vigor is important as your Barnyard Bird or Duck must have 85% or higher vivacity coupled with 100% vigor in order to breed. This consumable can only be used on a Barnyard Bird or Duck once in a 24 hour period.

Poultry Glow
This is the trifecta of consumables! The Poultry Glow provides a 5% increase to Stamina, a 5% increase to Vivacity and a 5% increase to Vigor. This consumable can only be used on a Barnyard Bird or Duck once in a 24 hour period

Flu Shot
If your Barnyard Bird or Duck runs out of food, or if you leave it in your inventory it will become sick. Once your Barnyard Bird or Duck is sick it will take 4 days for it to eat its way out of sickness, or you can purchase a one-time use Flu Shot that will heal one Barnyard Bird or Duck instantly

Vivacity Corn
These one-time use Vivacity Corns will increase one of your bird’s or duck’s vivacity by 15%.

Beloved Bird
The Beloved Bird will make a Senior Bird or Duck so that it will not require food any more. All other normal functions for a Senior Bird or Duck will still operate normally. It only works for Senior Birds or Ducks (Senior = No more cycles remaining) and can be used for both male and female Senior Birds or Ducks.

These Consumables can be found in any of the Amaretto Barnyard Bird Stores. Please visit this link for a complete list of locations. http://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

Happy Barnyard Bird and Duck breeding!

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you have a great weekend!!

Bok-Bok & Happy Breeding!!

Quack Quacker Quacken!

Did you know your Amaretto ducks can swim? If you have access to Linden water, you can turn on movement and animations, set them down in it and they will swim back and forth. Sorry, it doesn’t work in prim water. They will walk under water in that case, as long as they can hold their breath

Another thing to know, is that they can use some of the Amaretto chicken products. That’s right, they can use the flu shots, poultry glow, potency seeds, and vivacity corn, and even the Beloved Bird!

Ducks also use the same incubator as chickens. It’s the 3.0/1.1 version available free at the bird food stores. And thanks to the last bird update, it no longer takes an hour to hatch the nests, only a few minutes.

Ducks are also like the chickens in that one food lasts one bird 4 weeks, 2 birds 2 weeks and so on. Their hardiness should also be at or near 100%. You can breed one drake to one hen

Here is the duck wiki so you can check out all the great breeds and traits on these funny Amaretto birds.

No Parents, Expired Breeding?

Hello everyone its another terrific Thursday! I wanted to take some time to talk to you guys about something that i have noticed a couple of you guys have filed tickets about.

You have found the perfect pair of your favorite amaretto animals birthed and feed and are ready to breed! Then your waiting the entire pregnancy if there is one and awaiting your prized off spring, its drops and you click on it and it says BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS/EXPIRED BREEDING and will not birth. No it doesnt mean your OS is an orphan!

Oh NO!!! What did you do wrong? What happened? Well lets look at a couple reasons you may get a bundle with this text BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS/EXPIRED BREEDING .

The #1 reason why you will receive a bundle that says BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS/EXPIRED BREEDING is because your horses are not the latest current version. For you to get viable bundles you must be breeding the most current version which is currently 6.0 for horses.

If you relieve a kennel, nest or a basket that says BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS/EXPIRED BREEDING is because your k9, birds or ponies are not the latest current version. For you to get viable Kennels and baskets you you must be breeding the most current version which is currently Version 2.2 for K9s, Version 3.0 and Version 1.20 for Ponies

There could be 2 reason why you might receive a nest that says BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS/EXPIRED BREEDING the first one being the above mentioned if your birds are not Version 3.0 you will not get a viable nest. The 2nd reason why this may happen is if your birds cycles are not showing the correct amount or showing a negative cycle count.

So what do you do ? Well its simple all you have to update your breedable and breed them again if it is a Ponie or a bird updating it will give you the cycle or descendant back. If your Barnyard Bird has a negative cycle count and is the latest current version you will need to send in the rooster and the hen so that we can repair both of them and get you back on the breeding track! It doesn’t matter what animal you are breeding we will not be able to give you an viable offspring for your  BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS/EXPIRED BREEDING Offspring!

Remember if ever in doubt just ask we are always here to help! Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Happy breeding everyone!
