Last Bundle or Last Bred

Hello and a terrific Tuesday to everyone! Today I am going to take a moment to talk to you about the Last Bundle and Last Bred buttons on the menu. This button is a very useful tool and I think it is very under used. Let me give you an example of how useful this button can be… Let’s say you log on one day and quickly head over to check your bundles you got while you were offline… you get to one of your favorite horses and to your dismay the bundle underneath it has a bright red error message over it reading “Mother Had Second Bundle In 3 Days” and you didn’t already receive a good bundle! What?! Noooo! Now, thanks to Linden Labs, it is ticket time! Now here is where that button comes in handy. You can simply follow these simple steps and get the UUID of the last bundle they had (or should’ve had in the case of the “Mother had second bundle”) I am using a horse in this post as an example but this applies to K9 and Barnyard Birds as well…

To get the last bundle of a horse, K9, or Bird

  1. Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
  2. From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
  3. From there you select Last Bundle

You will see in local chat something that looks like this:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: The last bundle dropped by this horse was Amaretto Breedable Bundle with the ID of 1caf7404-XXXX-fe7f-9e4e-2ebXXXf5587

If the horse is has not had any bundles you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t had any bundles yet.

If the horse was not owned by you when the last bundle dropped you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when its last bundle was born

I would also like to add, if you click on a male horse, they get kind of touchy if you ask what their last bundle is. They will tell you the following in local chat… *giggles*

[17:30] Amaretto Breedable Horse: I’m a male, I don’t give birth!

Now that we have covered the Last Bundle, Let’s cover the Last Bred button…

Let me give you an example of when the Last Bred button comes in handy, say you have lost a bundle… it’s time to file a ticket… but all you remember is the mother and the CSR is asking for parent info… you can click this button on the mother and it will give you the last horse she bred to in local chat.

To get the last bred to information of a horse, K9, or Bird simply following these instructions:

  1. Click on the breedable to bring up the Main Menu
  2. From the Main Menu select the Breeding button
  3. From there you select the Last Bred button

You will see in local chat something that looks like this:

[17:30] ~Mr Wild Mustang Clydes~: The latest horse partner was ~Ms Pretty Little Lady~ with the ID of c07e698a-f7f7-5e40-XXX-82c38622XXXX

If the horse has not bred yet you will see the following in local chat:

[17:31] Amaretto Breedable Horse: This horse hasn’t been bred yet.

If the horse was not owned by you when the last horse last bred you will see the following in local chat:

[17:29] Amaretto Breedable Horse: You did not own this horse when it was last bred.

So you see these two buttons can be very handy, especially when it comes to making your ticket process goes smoother. I hope everyone has a better understanding of these nifty little buttons and utilizes them when needed!

I hope everyone has a great day and happy breeding, this is Ava over and out!!

Wild Hair What?

Hey everyone its a Manic Monday here at Amaretto Ranch!
I was watching the group today and had an idea for my connection and hope it will actually help some of you.
Lets talk about Wild Hairs!
Here are some questions that I have seen lately about wild hair!

What hair can be a wild hair ??
Any horse that has a regular mane and tail sculpt.

Does that include charmed horses?
That includes charmed, limited edition, haven horses.

How can I tell what a wild hair looks like there isnt a wild hair section on the wiki??
No there is no wild hair section just go to the specific horse your wild hair is and take a peek!

Does wild hair have the ability to pass??
YES!

Where do wild hairs come from?
The come from starter horses, new limited editions, and new haven horses!

How do i know if my wild hair is new or old??
Have you seen it before? If not it could be a new wild hair!

Is wild hair considered a trait??
YES!

How many wild hairs are there??
As many horses that have a regular mane and tail sculpt.

Here is examples of a normal tail sculpt:

Here is an example of a not normal tail sculpt:

Hopefully i have cleared up some of the confusions on wild hair! This is Ava happy breeding everyone!!

IMAGINE THAT!

On November 23, 2014 Amaretto donated the Amaretto T4T OOAK Imagination Cobalt to be auctioned off at the Amaretto’s Toys For Tots Auction!! Over 3,113,600L$ was raised in total at the Amaretto’s Toys For Tots Auction, which raises money to buy children toys for Christmas!!! The Amaretto T4T OOAK Imagination Cobalt was won by Duckkula with the high winning bid of 2,850,000 Lindens!  The Mesmerize Cobalt eye, the Cobalt wing, and most importantly the Cobalt coat could pass. Unfortunately those amazing antlers could NOT pass.

As an added bonus, hidden inside the OOAK was another coat! The Imagination Emerald coat, with its own Imagination Emerald eye and Emerald wing, all three of which could pass!

Today’s connection is a short one, as I’m sure everyone is more interested in opening presents, visiting loved ones, or enjoying a meal. Maybe some of you will say a prayer for those we have lost this past year, or give best wishes to new arrivals and family additions. Whatever your plans are for today, I hope it’s a happy one.

Posh Ponies!

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday! I hope your day is going well and your weekend is off to a great start!

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the Ponie Pal Posh Ponie!!

Amaretto Posh Ponies are very special Ponies that can be born at random from ANY Ponie breeding combination.

Posh Ponies are NOT able to pass their style.

However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Posh Ponie.

When you breed a Posh Ponie (whether it is with another Posh Ponie or any other Ponie ) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Posh Ponie.

The non posh offspring of Amaretto Posh Ponies do NOT have an increased chance of producing Amaretto Posh Ponies.

Posh Ponies are NOT able to pass their style. Posh Ponies DO have the ability to pass their eye.

Until next time this is Snookie hoping you have a wonderful weekend and an even better week ahead.

Happy Breeding!!

Somewhere Overo The Rainbow….

What does Overo mean? Overo refers to several genetically unrelated pinto coloration patterns of white-over-dark body markings in horses, and is a term used by the American Paint Horse Association to classify a set of pinto patterns that are not Tobiano. Overo is a Spanish word, originally meaning “like an egg”. That’s in that other world. In THIS world, Amaretto has done something else with the Overo-given us a lovely shaded coat to play with in varied colors, starting with the Overo Amber. On November 21, 2015 the 2015 Thanksgiving Limited Edition Horses. They were hiding the first Overos, the Overo Amber!

The next Overo was hidden in the March 2016 St Patrick’s Day LEs, the Overo Clover in great shades of green. By breeding the LEs you had a chance to get these lucky green coats.

For Fathers Day June 2016, Amaretto released the Father’s Day LEs. By breeding any of these you could get a chance at the Overo Azure!

Also in 2016, the December Christmas Limited Editions, the Winter Traveller, Ugly Christmas Sweater and Santa’s Reindeer were released. Hiding inside these great LEs was the Overo Berry!

Amaretto celebrated Summer with the release of the 2017 Summer Edition – da-dum da-dum da-dum Horses! Hiding inside the 2017 Summer Edition – da-dum da-dum da-dum was the Overo Prism. These were a big hit with people working on their rainbow trait projects.

Amaretto decided to celebrate the Chinese New Year and the Year of the Dog which only comes around every 12 years! From Jan 20, 2018 until Feb 2, 2018 you could pick up your 2018 Chinese New Year Edition – Year of the Dog at any Amaretto location! Hiding inside the 2018 Chinese New Year Edition – Year of the Dog was the Overo Gold!

The 7th Overo coat to come along was the Overo Orchid. This was hiding in the 2018 Astronomy Day Edition Animals, available at Amaretto stores from from Apr.17,2018 to May 1, 2018! The purple people were pleased as punch over these!

To change things up a bit Amaretto released its first 2018 Friday the 13th Editions, the Friday the 13th Edition – Spirit Board. They did not have to be bred together for a chance to get the new Overo Ebony.

Christmas 2018 brought the next round of special LEs, the Blitzen, Snowfall, Nutcracker and Sugarplum Fairy Limited Editions. These adorable LEs had to be bred together for a chance to get the ghostly appearing Overo Ivory. Well done Amaretto designers!

And finally, on March 17, 2020 Amaretto released 2020 Twilight Editions! You did not have to breed these animals together to get an awesome surprise! These editions were available from March 17, 2020 until March 31, 2020 and were hiding the Overo Twilight coats.

All of these fabulous Overo coats can pass, giving us the chance to combine them with all the other traits Amaretto has. Possibly to make a new trend horse! Happy Breeding everyone
