Happy Breeding!

Having a Hair Day

One of the standard things on Amaretto Horses and Ponie Pals are the mane and tail. They can be a starter trait, on the horses saying normal, and on Ponie Pals saying short.

There are several options for traited manes and tails on horses: long, upright, braided, upright long, roach and cyberpunk.

Traited tails include long, upright, braided, upright long, pinned, and cyberpunk.

The Roach Mane and Pinned Tail came out with Version 5.0 on September 3, 2014. On April 14th, 2020 Amaretto released all new 2020 Cyberpunk Editions animals! The hidden surprise in the 2020 Cyberpunk Editions was the Cyberpunk Mane and Tail!

With Ponie Pals of course, there arent as many choices. It’s either short, or long. but as for future designs, like Ava says, you never know.

You can make lots of horses with combinations of these 2 traits, depending on which is your favorite. Maybe you can think of a new design for manes and tails, and drop a notecard in the Amaretto Mailbox at the stores!

Expired Breeding!

On almost a daily basis, we continue to see people ask why they’ve gotten a bundle that says “expired breeding”. This Connection is intended to explain the reason why.

On Saturday, December 16, 2019, Amaretto released the 6.03 Horse update. 131

The updater can be purchased for L$0 at any Amaretto Breedable Horse Store. Find locations here https://amarettobreedables.com/pages/locations

As with all past updates, there was a time limit for you to get your horses updated in order for them to pass viable bundles.

Per the note card from the update:

AFTER Saturday Jan 1, 2020 WE WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR HORSES THAT ARE NOT v6.03 HORSES MUST BE UPDATED TO V6.03 TO FUNCTION PROPERLY!
Q: What do you mean by “not function properly”?
A: ALL versions that are not v6.03 will no longer produce viable offspring. Meaning any bundle produced by all versions that are not v6.03 will have the text BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS, or EXPIRED_BREEDING, will not birth and cannot be fixed.
***So PLEASE update your horses before Jan 1, 2020

As that date is now past, any bundle dropped, from a horse that is not 6.03, will show “expired breeding”. These bundles CANNOT be repaired. DO NOT FILE A TICKET! You are advised to delete the bundle, update the horse and start again.

Remember, pregnant horses cannot be updated, but, updating female horses, in recovery, will remove their recovery period and they can begin building fervor again, immediately.

It is up to YOU to stay informed about your breedables. As Josie stated in her Connection about being proactive ( https://amarettobreedables.com/connection/?p=19341 ), we provide information to you on a daily basis via notices, blogs, Facebook, and Twitter.

Connection posts are archived by month, forever! From the main Connection page ( https://amarettobreedables.com/connection/ ), go to Archives to read every Connection that has ever been posted.

Save yourself the time, effort, consumables, and loss of bundles by making sure all of your breeding horses are updated NOW!

This is Ava over and out making sure all your breedables are UPDATED!

Elemental Horses!

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday!

Today I want to shine the spotlight on the awesome Elemental Horses which are one of my favorites!

Amaretto is great for occasionally tossing in a few twists and turns. It was definitely a twist when Amaretto added the Elemental Horses!

The Elemental Horses can be randomly birthed by breeding together any two horses that have Element Eyes.

Elemental Horses can NOT pass their coat.

However breeding an Elemental Horse with another Elemental Horse or with any other horse with Element Eyes you will slightly increase your chance for another Elemental Horse.

For a closer look at any of these beauties check them out on the wiki at https://horse.amaretto.wiki/index.php?title=Elemental_Horses

Until next time this is Snookie hoping your weekend is awesome and you have an ever better week ahead!

Happy Breeding!!

Let’s Get Whimsical

Amaretto Breedables offers a reward system called Horse Haven. When you send your Horse to Horse Haven you will receive a number of points based on the number of traits and age for a particular Horse. Once you have accumulated enough points, you can use these points to purchase an array of items from the Horse Haven Vendor such as Pet Food, Healing Kits and our unique Horse Haven Horses. Haven horses can be gotten for 250,000 haven points.
On Saturday September 27, 2014 Amaretto added Haven Horse – Zebracorn to the Horse Haven vendor! They come in random gender and coat, and each has their own special eye, the Whimsical Eye.

The Zebracorn Haven Horse also gave some special surprises. If you breed the Zebracorn with any other horned horse (the horn must be shown in the stats) you can have a chance at one of the Zebracorn’s horns passing.

The Zebracorns also have the ability to pass 4 different hidden wings.

Zebracorn coats DO NOT have the ability to pass, but the Whimsical eyes DO have the ability to pass. And remember, when you breed a Haven Horse (whether it is with another Haven Horse or any other horse) you DO have an increased chance at receiving a random Charmed Horse. The non-Charmed offspring of a Haven Horse do NOT have an increased chance of producing a Charmed Horse. Happy Breeding!

Let Amaretto Enchant You!

Happy Hump Day Breeders!

Today’s Connection spotlights a very enchanting group of Amaretto breedables – The Enchanted K-9s!

What Are Enchanted K-9s?

To enchant means to fill someone with great delight and these K-9s certainly do that! Enchanted K-9s are very special K-9s that can be born at random from ANY K-9 breeding combination.

Just have a look!

Enchanted Anubis
▶ Eye: Egyptian Gold Eye
▶ Collar: Gold Menet Collar

Enchanted Blood Thirsty Beagle
▶ Eye: Blood Lust Eye
▶ Collar: Bloody Spiked Collar

Enchanted Hell Hound
▶ Eye: The Lake of Fire Eye
▶ Collar: The Key to Hell Collar

Enchanted Pixie Yorkie
▶ Eye: Purple Pixie Dust Eye
▶ Collar: Purple Swirl Collar

Awesome K-9s, right?

Enchanted K-9s are NOT able to pass their coats, eyes, or collars. However, you could get extremely lucky and birth another Enchanted K-9. And, when you breed an Enchanted K-9 (whether it is with another Enchanted K-9 or any other K-9) you DO have an increased chance at receiving another random Enchanted K-9.

Needless to say, the non-Enchanted offspring of Enchanted K-9s do NOT have an increased chance of producing Enchanted K-9s.

Start breeding K-9s today, you just may be enchanted! ✨

Until next time…HAPPY BREEDING!
