4.0, 2.0, and Peafowls are here!!

Hello Amaretto Family! How is everyone today? Well we have been busy this morning! when I say busy I mean BUSY!

So im very excited to announce the release of the Barnyard Bird Update!

This will bring Amaretto Chickens to version 4.0, Amaretto Ducks to version 2.0, and brand new Amaretto Peafowls!!

There are all new starter packs with a new reduced price! You can find hidden update surprises by breeding any of the new starter Barnyard Birds!

With this update we are also releasing the Barnyard Bird Lineage, you will be able to access this the same way you do for your horses currently once you are logged into our website, hover over lineage systems and choose Barnyard Birds!

We have also changed things up you can get the following from the new Sanctuary Vendor such as the incubator, GPS, and updater!

AFTER 02/10/25 WE WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR BARNYARD BIRDS THAT ARE NOT C-4.0 / D-2.0***BIRDS MUST BE UPDATED TO C-4.0 / D-2.0 TO FUNCTION PROPERLY:

With the release of C-4.0 / D-2.0, beginning 02/10/25 ALL versions that are not C-4.0 / D-2.0 will no longer produce viable offspring. Meaning any nest produced on or after 02/10/250 by all versions that are not C-4.0 / D-2.0, will have the text BAD_DATA_NO_PARENTS and will not birth. If you receive a nest like this it cannot be fixed. Customers were given 2 weeks to update their birds to C-4.0 / D-2.0. Please update your birds to version C-4.0 / D-2.0.

Somethings you need to know about the updater:

**IF THE BULK UPDATER DOESN'T UPDATE ALL YOUR BIRDS, RE-REZ THE BIRD AND TRY IT AGAIN, YOU MAY ALSO USE THE SINGLE UPDATER FOR BIRDS THE BULK UPDATER DOES NOT UPDATE**

1. It will not work if there is more than one updater out. It gives you a message that there are 2 updaters out please remove one. If you continue to try and update your bird It will give you another error message and have you pick one updater up and reset the other. (touch and wait 5 seconds to reset)

2. The updater will not work on sims with a high load. Dilation needs to be above .65 and region fps must be above 25 for the updater to work. You will get an error message that says the sim dilation is too low, we have enclosed a sim monitor that will display these values for you. Just rez on your sim next to the updater.

Update Instructions:

Single Updater: Place the updater near the bird that isn't updated and click the bird and click the update button. The bird will be updated and the settings will be the same as before the update process. ***DO NOT PICK UP BIRDS OR THE UPDATER UNTIL IT HAS COMPLETED THE UPDATE PROCESS***

Bulk updater
The Barnyard Birds Bulk Updater will update all Barnyard Birds on the sim that you own.

To use:
Unbox the Barnyard Birds Bulk Updater, rez the Barnyard Birds Bulk Updater anywhere on your sim.

Click the updater, choose Chickens or Ducks, if you want your birds to keep there settings you can just choose update.

If you want to change the settings of you birds so that after updating they will all have the same settings choose the settings button.

You can set the following settings;
Mating Mode
Movement
Animation
Text
Food
Range
Sounds
Mode

Once these settings are set the way you want them choose update.
Do not remove the updater until it has completed updating all birds and the hover text above the updater reads FINISHED. ***DO NOT PICK UP BIRDS OR THE UPDATER UNTIL IT HAS COMPLETED THE UPDATE PROCESS***

There are 2 new additions to the Sanctuary Vendor! We now have 2 Lamplight Sanctuary Chickens and our first ever Sanctuary Ducks the Rubber Duck! Don't forget that these Sanctuary Birds surprise you just like a starter!
