    Amaretto Breeding Times

Here's a little note for newer breeders to help with breeding Amaretto horses, dogs, ponie pals, chickens and ducks.

The question has been asked how long can they breed and when can they breed? Horses can start breeding at 7 days old as long as they are at 100% fervor, although they can't gain it on their own til they ARE 7 days. To get there, you can give them a Passion Pill and a Cocktail every 24 hours, which gives them 15% fervor total each time. The normal way is to just make sure they have salt so they gain happiness. When that is at least 75% they can start gaining fervor at 7 days, and it usually takes 2-3 days to get to 100%. Pregnancy takes 3 days unless you use a booster. Boosters are 1%, 5% and 25%. After they drop the bundle recovery is 4 days and no, there is no pill to make that shorter lol. This makes the average time a female takes to breed about 9 days. The males take about the same time to gain fervor, 2-3 days without boosting, and start gaining fervor again after breeding as long as happiness is at least 75%. Horses can breed until they are 120 days but as soon as they turn 120 they retire. You can breed a horse at 119 and they will drop the bundle at 122 and retire. After that they will need an Extenze to be breedable for another 7 days which means one more bundle from the female.

Amaretto K9s work pretty much the same as the horses do, except their heat boosters are Vitamins and Puppy Love pills, which also give 15% a day, and they don't have the 25% pregnancy booster. They must also be at least 75% happiness to gain heat, and 7 days old to breed. The added bonus with the dogs, is they can breed to 126 days! Dogs do not have an Extenze to add breeding time.

With the Barnyard Birds it's definitely different, as they only breed one on one, and both male and female go through a recovery period after the egg drops. Birds also have to have 85% vivacity (which is the same as happiness) to gain vigor (heat or fervor in dogs and horses) and must MAINTAIN 85% in order to breed. High Potency Seeds and Poultry Glow can give 15% to vigor a day and can be used on chickens and ducks. Birds breed and drop their nests immediately, after which they have a nesting period of 3 days. The birds' breeding does not have an age timer on it. Instead they have cycles. As long as they have a cycle they can breed, no matter how old they are.

Ponie Pals also operate differently, although they also mature at 7 days. Their happiness is called bliss, and fervor is called moxie. To gain moxie the bliss must be at least 70%. Ponies also drop their basket as soon as they breed, but female recovery takes 4 days, then to get back to 100% moxie also takes 4 days. They have descendants and can breed as long as there is at least one descendant left, with males having 40 and females having 20, so breeding is one male to two females. Their stat boosters are called Moxie Sunday and Rainbow Cake Surprise, with each one giving a 10% boost to their stats and can only be given once in a 24 hour period.
