Flag Day is a holiday celebrated on June 14 in the United States. It commemorates the adoption of the flag of the United States on June 14, 1777 by resolution of the Second Continental Congress.
Each country has their own specific flag, with certain colors and symbols. To commemorate that, Amaretto introduced the Flags of the World eyes beginning March 1, 2015. These eyes could come from breeding any coats that were 5.0 version and are non starter eyes. They were a random drop that changed each month from the first to the last day of the month, and can be passed through breeding.

There are currently 74 Flags of the World eyes, but 193 recognized countries. That leaves so many more possibilities don't you think? Another possibility is maybe a United Nations coat or something like it from breeding FOTW eyes together in the future. As our favorite Ava likes to say, You Never Know!
