Interview with a breeder named Rex - The Torch

Sprinkles Monday: Hi, Do you mind if i ask you a few things about Amaretto Breedables?

Rex - The Torch - Ishkode (ancientforestwarrior): Sure! What's up?

Sprinkles Monday: How did you find out about Amaretto?

Rex - The Torch - Ishkode (ancientforestwarrior): oh gosh! Well I started out learning about breedables from a friend about 4 years ago now. There were several different options, but I found that the horses were my favorite of all the different breedable choices out there. The system was easy to learn, there were many different choices of coats available out there. And I really liked the nice quality artwork on the horses.
 
I like the freedom of being able to mix and match traits, and it was very exciting to see what thing would drop next. I liked the monthly breeding challenges and such. Always looking forward to something new.

Sprinkles Monday: What is your horse favorite coat?

Rex - The Torch - Ishkode (ancientforestwarrior): My most favorite coat of all is the Craved Stormy Amaretto Okapi Beryl

I find the coat is very striking, I love the black and white contrast, plus lightning

Sprinkles Monday: What is your favorite thing about breeding?

Rex - The Torch - Ishkode (ancientforestwarrior): I love to work on projects, seeing which traits will look nice together. The excitement of what will come out of the next drop. You never know if it'll be something super special, like a charmed!

I also really like the community. I have met many friends through working at and going to auctions

Sprinkles Monday: What are some things you would like to see  happen, like new traits or changes with the breeding?

Rex - The Torch - Ishkode (ancientforestwarrior): I would really love to see more possibilities at Mule drops (mules are my favorite haha). Or new types of Haven Horses to choose from.

Oh and new types of Charmed horse drops!

I know I have talked a lot about horses.. but i think it would be really cool to see mini mule ponie pals too

Sprinkles Monday: What is the  project you are most proud of and why?

Rex - The Torch - Ishkode (ancientforestwarrior): The project I am most proud of is still in the making, but it is my Stormy Project. I am excited about how traits will match. I am proud of how many lightning traits I hope to get onto this piece.

My project does not yet have a name, as it is still in the making.

Sprinkles Monday: Is there anything else you would like to share with the community about yourself as a breeder?

Rex - The Torch - Ishkode (ancientforestwarrior): I'd say give amaretto a try, there are so many really neat options out there, and not only can you make some cool projects, but you can also make some great friends as well.
