    June's Pride

The origins of Pride Month can go back to the Stonewall riots, which took place in June 1969 in New York City. These riots were a significant turning point in the LGBTQ+ rights movement, as they sparked a wave of activism and led to the formation of numerous gay rights organizations.
Pride Month serves as a time to commemorate the progress made in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights and to recognize the challenges that still exist. It is a platform for promoting LGBTQ+ visibility, educating the public and advocating for equality and acceptance.
