In the Basque Country, the word “pottok” (pronounced “potiok”) means “small horse”. The pottok is a breed of rural ponies that live mainly in the western part of the Basque Country.
These cute small horses are def. my favorite small horses that amaretto has given us.
When the version 5.5 Horse update came out on October 7,2016 these exciting new coats were hidden in new starters. The Pottok Ponys are one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter coats that can come from breeding “Starter Horses”.
You can have a chance at one of these exciting Non-Starter Pottok Pony by breeding any horse with a starter horse or by breeding together two starter horses.
These coats CAN be passed on.
Starting on April 1, 2017 Amaretto announced the release of all new Birthstone Flower Horses.
From October 1st 2017 until October 31st, 2017 when you breed any horse with a Marigold Opal Eye to any color Pottok Pony you will have the chance at a Marigold Opal Pottok Pony!
The Marigold Opal Pottok Pony coat DOES NOT have the ability to pass.
The Opal MarigoldEye DOES have the ability to pass!
It was definitely a twist when Amaretto added the Show Horses! So it was no surprise when Amaretto brought them back in 2018!
From January 1st to January 31st if you breed any 2 Pottok Pony together you will have a chance at getting a Showcase Pottok Pony!
The Showcase Pottok Pony can be randomly birthed by breeding together any two horses that have Pottok Pony coats of any color.
The Showcase Pottok Pony can NOT pass their coat.
However, the Charming Eye and the Charming Saddle DO have the ability to pass.
The next new monthly breeding was the Jazzy Gem was released on October 1, 2021 each month on the 1st of the month the qualifiers will change.
Starting July 1, 2022 at 12:01 AM until July 31, 2022 11:59 PM any time you breed the two Pottok Ponys together you could get a new Jazzy Gem - Onyx Pottok Pony!
The Jazzy Gem - Onyx Pottok Pony coat DOES NOT have the ability to pass, however a new Onyx Pottok Pony DOES have the ability to pass!
The Onyx Eye and the Headpiece Jazzy Gem -Onyx DOES have the ability to pass!
🐴 So change it up abit and breed cute small horsies today. You can never have to many cute horsies. 🐴
