Everything that makes a project horses more beautiful is the perfect hair that matches the perfect project you are breeding.
So if its a punk mane or just a great wild hair lets send those project horses to the hair salon!!

The Mane trait comes from breeding “Starter Coats” together or one starter with any other horse.

The Roach Mane and Pinned Tail came out with Version 5.0 on September 3, 2014. Please note that the Mane trait CAN be passed on.

On April 14th, 2020 Amaretto released all new 2020 Cyberpunk Editions animals! These animals could pass you the new Cyberpunk Mane!

On September 1st 2020 Amaretto celebrated their 10th bday! One birthday surprise that was announced was the Vaporwave Horses! In addition to this announcement Amaretto gave away 6 10th Anniversary OOAK Vaporwave Horses! These special horses had a twist a new Mega Crystal Wing, Crystal Mane, and Crystal Tail that had the ability to pass! Happy Birthday Amaretto and congrats winners!!

When the version 7.0 Horse update came out on Apr.18,2022 these exciting new coats were hidden in new starters. The Fresians are one set of many exciting possible Non-Starter coats that can come from breeding “Starter Horses”.
Fresian horses have the ability to pass the Fresian mane and tail!

The Tail trait comes from breeding “Starter Coats” together or one starter with any other horse. Please note that the Tail trait CAN be passed on.

Wild Hair
Wild hair is a trait was introduced in the 3.5 update this trait allows you to put any mane/tail from any horse coat on another horse. If you want to see a specific wild hair please look at the Horse Coats section of the wiki and find the Wild Hair you are looking for.

The Wild Hair trait DOES have the ability to pass.

So give your horse the right hair color to match your project red on black or yellow on a green horse ? its all doable!!
