    Nessie - New Eye

    Hello everyone!!

I'm sure most of us know all about the Loch Ness Monster (Nessie) but now she is with us in Second Life thanks to Amaretto and the new monthly eye for December 2023.  Let's take a look at Nessie before we look at this amazing eye though.

So here is a little history about Nessie.  Nessie is a legendary being from Scottish tradition believed to dwell within Loch Ness, situated in the scenic Scottish Highlands. Frequently depicted as sizable, possessing an elongated neck, and featuring one or more humps emerging from the lake's depths, Nessie's allure has waxed and waned among the general populace since capturing global attention in 1933. Substantiating its presence relies mainly on anecdotal accounts, accompanied by a collection of contentious photographs and sonar measurements.

The most famous picture of her was taken on April 19, 1934, which probably everyone here has seen.

This image caused a lot of speculation and eventually lead to some people trying to find Nessie's DNA in Loch Ness in 2018 with over 250 water samples, although they were not able to verify any genetic material that could attribute to Nessie.

There are hundreds and pictures and articles about Nessie all around the internet if you are curious and want more information about this amazing creature.  But for now Amaretto has brought Nessie into Second Life with the new eye: Cryptid - Loch Ness Monster, as seen on a Ponie Pal  below.

Now you are probably wondering how you can get this eye?  Well that's easy actually just breed!  It's a random drop from breeding any two Amaretto Animals (Horses with horses, K9s with K9s, Ponies with Ponies, Chicken with Chickens and Ducks with Ducks of course).

    Good luck everyone!!
