PEACH BUZZ ~ CAN YOU DIG IT?

    Dear Breeders,

Today we get to go on a little field trip.  We are going to look for minerals.  But first lets ask ourselves what exactly is a mineral?

Minerals are formed naturally by geological processes. A mineral is a homogeneous solid that can be made of single native element or more usually a compound. Minerals make up Earth's rocks and sands, and are an important component of soils.

5 characteristics required of all minerals

    • Be naturally-occurring (man-made substances such as steel are not minerals)
    • Be Inorganic (not living, or from plants or animals)
    • Be solid at room temperature (usually)
    • Have a typical ordered internal structure (atoms have an orderly, repeated geometric pattern) which generally forms crystals
    • Have a definite chemical composition (may vary within given limits) that is the same everywhere the mineral occur.

Did you know that a lot of minerals can be found in our national parks? Pretty cool right.  Here in Amaretto we don't need to go dig for minerals because we have some pretty cool Mineral eyes!  Take a closer look at these beauties!

Interesting facts about Mineral Eyes.  In the 6.01 update we found 4 new mineral eyes hidden in the starters.  Those eyes were the Rose Agate, Malachite, Labradorite, & the Tigers eye.  Then in the 7.0 update we discovered 5 new mineral eyes hidden in the starters.  Those eyes were the Bismuth, Vanadinite, Watermelon Tourmaline, Rose Quartz, & the Fluorite.  So in total now we have 9 mineral eyes.  So far they are just a beautiful collection of eyes.  Will Amaretto do something with these eyes in the future?  Will we be seeing more mineral eyes in future updates?  As I quote Ava "you never know".  I do know this.....these eyes do pass!  These eyes are stunning and well worth using them to complete a trendsetting horse.

This is Maggie Mae reporting live on trendsetting news in Amaretto!  Have a great weekend!
