Do you remember way back in 2018 there was a return of the Show horses? Today I will showcase the Amaretto Okapi Showhorse!
Amaretto took the classic features of the Okapi horse and accentuated with orange, red, and yellow. The white face stands out against the black which fades into brown over the body. The legs feature the standard okapi stripes of white. The regal sashes and blanket, that are part of the coat itself, add elegance to this noble steed.
While the coats did not have the ability to pass, the eyes and saddle passed. These traits are still present in our projects today, which speaks for the quality Amaretto's timeless designs.
Amaretto has given breeders opportunities to use these beautiful traits in new ways. Complements to the yellows have been released recently!
