    Sick Ponies??

We all love our little ponie pals but sometimes they do get sick, if they don't have food within range or you are out of food.  So let's remember back to our ARU classes for a moment:

Amaretto Breedables suggests that you have only 8 Ponies to one grub and bliss gummy. Considering that 1 grub lasts 1 Ponie 6 weeks, if you put 50 Ponies to 1 grub it could be asking for problems. Second Life likes to give us a good ride for our money and there is no telling what little bug or glitch could happen in the Second Life platform to cause things to go just a little bit wrong.

Next thing to remember is to always make sure that your Ponie grub is in the same group as your Ponies. So often the grub is in one group and the Ponie in another, the grub is set to feed only those in the same group, and before you know it you have sick Ponies on your hands. Some sims have it set that no scripts can run unless they are set to the same group as the land. You'd be surprised at how many people overlook this and wonder what’s gone wrong when their grub and/or Ponie is not functioning as it should be.

Having said all this, if you notice that your Ponie's grub (hunger) is on the rise, it's time to take some action to prevent your Ponie from getting sick. Once your Ponie reaches 100% nourishment it is now sick and will need to recover.

If you do see them getting sick, here are some things to check:

    • Make sure the ponie pals and the food are the same group
    • Make sure they do have food out and it's within their range (default rage is 5 Meters)

If that is all correct, pick them up and re-rez them.  If this fails it might be time to send in a ticket at http://amarettobreedables.com/support

But what happens if they get sick?  Well the Ponie Pals are the only one of the breedables that will not eat itself out of sickness so you will need some Ponie Noodle Soup to help your Ponie Pals feel better.  You can buy this at any Amaretto Ponie Pal store and one they eat the soup they will be completely healed instantly.
