    Taking Pictures

I know everyone is anxiously awaiting special coats or random eye drops for April, and if they get one they want to show it off and post pictures in chat. Newer SL users may not know this but here is a short connection with some tips to make your pictures shine. You are welcome to do your own thing, but environment settings really affect the quality of pictures.
For myself I have found that full sun setting makes the colors true and easy to see. If you are using Firestorm viewer you can find environment settings under the World tab. Scroll down to environment and you will see another box pop up with a choice of settings. Midday is the full sun setting. Add a checkmark to that. Now you are ready to take a colorful pic of your breedables!

Now to pose your pets for the best effect. If you are taking a picture of an eye on a chicken for instance, it can be difficult to get in close enough. You can zoom the camera in closer using Cntl+0.  then scroll in for a closeup. To get out of zoom, just hit Cntrl+9. For full shots, try a sideways pose, or slightly to the front of the animal.

You will notice the difference in a picture taken at Sunset

compared to one taken at Midday,

and look how dark Midnight setting is!

There are several tools for taking pictures inside SL that include Snapshot, or downloaded ones like Gyazo or Printscreen. You can even use Snipping Tool on your computer to take ones directly to your hard drive but then you have to load them to SL. Good luck with your future picture taking and remember to smile! Happy Breeding
