Twisted and Spotted

Well, you aren't going to find this breed in any AKC listing of dogs, but who cares about AKC? This is Amaretto!

Amaretto is great for occasionally tossing in a few twists and turns. So beginning in November of 2013 they created the Twist dogs. The Twist Dog consisted of breeding together each month 2 different breeds in order to discover the “twist coat, collar & eye”. They could drop from the 5th of each month, to the 5th of the next month

One of my favorites was the Dawild. From June 5, 2014 until July 5, 2014 you could breed any color of Dalmatian and any color of Into the Wild together for the chance at one of these Dawild Coats. No other qualifications necessary, just has to be 1 Dalmatian and 1 Into the Wild any color. Now Amaretto doesn't have a Dalmation breed specifically, but they DO have the Paradise Puppy Dalmation, and the 2013 Special Edition K-9 Devotion Dalmatian, great dogs to use in creating a Twist Coat.

My personal favorite of these is the Rainbow Dawild.
