Where are my Ponies???

Hello!!

We all know that breeding can be addictive, hunting for that next trait or that special Ponie so three Ponies can quickly go from a few pods to several hundred Ponies.  And maintaining and keeping those in their pods can be difficult when you have so many Ponies.  Well, Amaretto has the perfect solution...Global Ponie Synchronizer otherwise known as the G.P.S.  This is a magical device, that creates the perfect solution to keeping your Ponies organized.

But how does this amazing device work?  Let's take a look at the menu and see what this can do to help you and your Ponie breeding.

When you click on the G.P.S. you will get this menu.  The default settings will show at the top with the Movement On, Animations On, Text On, and Sound On.  To change those just click on which one you want to alter.

Here are what all these buttons do:

Home Set
With this option you can keep the Home setting where it was or tell the GPS to reset the home on all rezzed Ponies to their current location.

You will see the following in local chat:

[11:41] Global Ponie Synchronizer: Home will be reset on activation
OR
[11:42] Global Ponie Synchronizer: Home will be kept on activation

Movement
Movement Off/ Movement Physical / Movement Phantom

A Ponie’s movement range is determined by the range you have set. If you set the range to 10m, a Ponie will not go beyond 10m from its home position and likewise if you set it 96m. However, when you are dealing with many Ponies movement can sometimes be a little much while you’re trying to manage them. So clicking this feature off will ensure your Ponies stay where you left them. 

The difference between Physical and Phantom is:. 

Physical will not walk through other objects
Phantom will walk through other objects

Sounds On/Sounds Off
If you would like Sounds left on, do nothing as a Ponie's default setting is on. However if you wish to turn them off then click Sounds Off and  once you have made all changes and click activate, all sounds will be off. However if you wish you can turn them on at any time following the same steps.

Anims On/Anims Off
Animations are what you see when your Ponie's head goes up and down and it lays down when it sleeps. Both are very cute but some would rather this feature be turned off. Like Sounds, do nothing if you wish them to stay on as a Ponie's default is on. However if you wish for your Ponies animations to be off, simply click off and once you have activated settings all your Ponies will stay in a stationary position.

Text Off/Text On
The local chat will look something like this: 

[12:13] Global Ponie Synchronizer: Set text has been turned on.
OR
[12:13] Global Ponie Synchronizer: Set text has been turned off.

So the Text Off/On does just that. If you click the Text Off feature, once you activate the settings all the text will disappear from above your Ponies. 

Some people believe that by turning the text off over your Ponies it will increase sim performance some. Truth of the matter is that Text on or off has zero effect on the performance of a sim. So really it’s a personal choice. Some like to see the stats and basic information of their Ponies while others do not.

Set range
When you click this option you will see in local chat the following: 

[11:52] Global Ponie Synchronizer: Set the range in local chat (channel 0)

Once you enter a number and hit enter it will apply this to the Global Ponie Synchronizer and you will see something like this in local chat

[11:53] Global Ponie Synchronizer: Range set to 10

Particles
The Ponie's poof particles when they do different actions such as sleeping or when they have a basket.  Like Sounds and animations, do nothing if you wish them to stay on as a Ponie's default is on. However if you wish for your Ponies animations to be off, simply click off and once you have activated settings all your Ponies will stay in a stationary position.

Activate
Once you have made all the changes you would like to make to the settings of your Ponies click Activate from the drop down menu and you will see something like this

GPS Text
The GPS Apple Tree displays the settings in a hover text above it. If you would like to turn it off or on you can do so with this button.  You will see something in local chat like this

[12:09] Global Ponie Synchronizer: GPS Text has been turned on.
[12:09] Global Ponie Synchronizer: GPS Text has been turned off.
