How Do You Catalog Your Horses?

I am looking for a way to catalog all my bundles, weather it be by spread sheet or other means. Does anyone have a good idea on how to keep track of the bundles and/or horses they have so you can look and see if you have a bundle you or someone else may need.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!!

    Patience...

No but really when it comes to catalogs. Alot of people just name bundles and use folders. Or they will use Bundle Buddies. There is a horse catalogue system but I cant remember the name of it at the moment. The key is to do what makes YOU feel comfy.

I tend to break out breeds into folders with coats in subfolders... then I use last 3 of UUID for dad+mom in name. I also distinguish bundles from live and call out some rough traits in my naming conventions.

So my folders looks something like this:

    Walker (folder)

    -White Walker (folder)

--4f1 Garnet Ghosts (folder using dad to sort 1st tier to help keep full siblings together)

    ---Sib1F6T WW GarnetGhost 4f1+9d3

    ---Sib1M6T WW GarnetGhost 4f1+9d3

    ---Sib2F6T WW GarnetGhost 4f1+9d3

    --M6T 4f1 WW GarnetGhostSTUD 98d+4h6

I also mark my old friend keepers with a z before their name so I know they are just snoozing in inventory eternally....  very handy when I want to check back further on origin of a genetic line since it shows up when you check parents.
