Amaretto Admin Avalon Crystal Posted January 31, 2025 at 07:24 PM Amaretto Admin Posted January 31, 2025 at 07:24 PM SIck birds will be black until they are healed, once this happens either via flu shot or eating their way out of sickness they will be black. Quote
Jeykob Moyet Posted February 3, 2025 at 11:05 PM Author Posted February 3, 2025 at 11:05 PM Won't this make it easier for scammers? Also, even tho I don't sell any of my breedables, I will be less inclined to buy a sick bird and wait for it to heal or spend money just to notice that the bird I'm buying is not to my liking. Right now I've been waiting patiently for a bird to heal just to find another bug on the recently updated bird coat. It discourages me to update any of my old birds unless it is on a "I need it now" basis, something that doesn't happen with the horses. One of the benefits I like of Amaretto breedables is that I can see the actual breedable even if it's sick. This was the reason I left Ozimals behind even before they went oob, they had this same policy about sick animals. Forcing a sick pose/animation is less discouraging. (I own but a small number of animals, I've taken all the classes and I've graduated from the AU, but I cannot be present at any meetings as my timeline complicates it. This is the reason why I can only read meetings and send suggestions thru the Amaretto page. Hope that asking thru the forums won't be an issue.) Quote
