Returning Breeder

Hi All, 

I have been breeding Amaretto since the very beginning (yes I'm old 😂), I have been away from SL for roughly 5 years now. Thinking about coming back and getting my horses back out but I have no idea what's been going on for the last few years! I can see from the wiki we have lots of new traits etc but what are people looking to breed nowadays? Really I am just being lazy and don't want to do a ton of research of the last 5 years, so any help is appreciated! Will be sticking to the horses for the moment but, I do still have some K9 and ponie bundles 🤫

Also do we have any auctions that are on UK time? I always have trouble getting to auctions on US time as i work 40 hours a week and can not stay up late anymore!

Things I experienced and thought about a week ago. I was one of the first users and had taken a serious break. I’ve been researching for a week. I got the new starter pack and Valentine. I decided to go with the concept horses. I really need events in European time. But the market doesn’t seem very active. There used to be a lot of shopping back then; I’m keeping an eye on it, and the circulation seems low. Let’s see what time will bring.

Hello Kira, welcome back! I have been off and on nearly since the beginning as well. Easiest place to start might be to breed the new LE's or look at the current qualifiers for new traits. I personally go with breeding designer horses since there's a slew of different traits to use to design something unique. I can't make it to most auctions either, but I like to meander through the Minx bid boards to see the newest traits.

Thank you both 😊 seems like a lot of people are coming back!  I used to love creating designer horses so that would prob be the best way to go. I’m not sure if I want to get the starters as I wasn’t sure when they last came out. I’m glad to see it’s still about, maybe we all need to come together and get some European auctions going 🤣
